Driven by a lifelong devotion to animal welfare, my journey began in Jamaica, where I honed my clinical skills at the Jamaica Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals before discovering a deep-seated passion for the science of behaviour. My unique background includes specializing in marine mammal training, where I mastered the art of using positive reinforcement to communicate with dolphins, an expertise I now bring to the world of canine education.
As a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP), I specialize in early puppy conditioning and proactive development. I believe that establishing solid habits in a dog’s early stages is key. By focusing on science-based, force-free methods, I don’t just train puppies; I empower families to build a foundation of trust and clear communication.

My love for animals began at a young age. Early on, I was given the opportunity to foster and raise future dog guides for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides (LFCDG). As I grew older, dog guides continued to be my passion and I stepped into a role in Dog Care and Welfare for LFCDG. This gave me the opportunity to work with dogs in many different stages of training, whether they were entering specialized training, kennel introductions, or while waiting to find their "furever" homes after being released from training. I learned to use my creativity and positive reinforcement techniques to motivate and guide these dogs to be the best they could be!
When my last foster was released from the program for allergies, I found myself looking for ways to give us a new sense of purpose. This was when I decided to jump into the pet-training world. I became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed and began working to build connections between pets and their owners through training and sport. Today, my goal is to create a supportive community of connected teams, people and their dogs, who live, work, and thrive together in harmony.
